It’s Official! The new site is here!

After working with many clients over the years and helping them update their websites, my Plaidfish website always lingered in the background wishing to be updated. So this weekend, I worked liked crazy to get a beautiful, new site up and here it is!

I was thinking about how long I’ve been a graphic designer the other day and I realized that it’s been 13 years this summer. Eight of those years, I’ve been working as a Freelancer. The other 4 years, I worked downtown at two different agencies. Gosh, how does time fly.

In honor of my new blog site, I’ve decided to highlight 20 of my most favorite projects. My hard drive is out and my archive cds are staked on both sides of my computer. Now I need to just track down all of the files and get them posted. I hope you enjoy this walk down memory lane.

About a year now, I’ve been working with a local choir to build their brand. The work has included everything from a logo to a season brochure to ads for the local paper. I was looking back today through my files and I came across the different pages of logos that I sent when we were first starting the project. I have a really great time designing logos. When Tyson and I got married, we went crazy with details. We had been to 9 other wedding the year before ours and at each wedding we thought about what we loved and what we wanted to do differently. It took a great deal of work, but today people still tell us it was one of the most fun weddings they had been to.
