save the date

I designed some ’save the date’ postcards for both my cousin’s and my brother’s wedding. They tend to be a super economical way to get the word out. Not only can you get 250 printed for around $75 dollars, you can also save a little on postage.

Jen and Jason’s colors were red, so I wanted to use that on the card. I also wanted to come up with the type and graphical elements that we’d be using on the actual invite. Jen was planning on having lots of gerber daises, so I though a simple outlined flower would be the perfect graphic.

Sarah wanted to incorporate her color red, as well as black and white photography that she would be using on different elements. We weren’t quite sure what the final invite would look like yet, so we opted to keep the ’save the date’ card simple.
